A simple vanilla cup cake recipe 


You will need:
  •  Sugar 125g
  •  flour 125g
  •  salted butter 125g 
  •  eggs 2
  •  vanilla  1 tea spoon
  •  baking powder  1.5 tea spoons
  •  milk  2 table spoons


It's very easy to make a butter cake using this recipe. You can make a batch of 10-12 cupcakes using this recipe.

An extra hint : you can add butter milk to make it fluffy and soft


"Eat cake while you have teeth"  



  • First, you have to add baking powder to the flour and sift more than once
  • Keep the mixture aside and go for the wet ingredients.
  • Beat the butter until it become soft and fluffy. Gradually keep mixing while adding sugar into the mixture. 
  • When the butter and sugar is mixed well you can add vanilla to the mixture.
  • Add eggs one at a time and beat it in high speed.
  • Then take back the dry ingredients(flour mixture) 
  • Gradually add flour into the butter, sugar and egg mixture.
  • Tip: Do not beat  it but fold it
  • you have to make sure that the ingredients are mixed well and finally you can add milk (or butter milk) 
  • 👉How to make butter milk
  • Preheat the oven for 10 mins under 180 Celsius degrees  
  • Prepare the cupcake liners in the baking tray and pour the batter 3/4 of the liner
The batter should be baked and it needs to rise up hence it is better to keep the batter 3/4 of the liner.
Do not fill the whole liner

  • Bake the batter in the oven for 15-20 minutes
