How I made this frozen Elsa cake

This is a simple vanilla ribbon cake iced with vanilla butter frosting and covered with fondant icing

The very first step is to bake your cakes and sandwich them into a single stack.
Then I crumb coated my cake and kept it in the fridge for about 20 mins.

I made my fondant and colored it in blue to apply to my cake
Then i rolled my fondant using a roller pin and wrap it all with the roller pin and then released it on the cake to avoid tearing the fondant .

When rolling the fondant , it should not be too much thinner or thicker.

You can use corn flour or corn starch to avoid the fondant from sticking to the work top ( some people even use icing sugar)

As soon as the fondant is rolled over the cake then i used my fondant smoother to smooth it all on top and then the sides down using top to bottom approach to avoid any air bubbles.

Then I simply trimmed the access fondant off using a small knife.( you can use a pizza cutter or a small blade as well)

Once the cake is completely covered and trimmed you can even smooth it more until you are satisfied but you must be careful enough not to put too much pressure on the cake or it will start to break.

My cake has a layer of snow on top so i rolled some white fondant and then using a sharp small blade, cut the curves as if they are falling downwards.

Now it's time to decorate my cake with the toppers  i have prepared several days before the cake decoration.

first i added a blue colored ribbon to enhance the color of the cake

Then i decorated the cake with those toppers i have prepared and the final result was so amazing
